Ultradition Magnum
The Champagne Ultradition by Laherte Frères perfectly embodies the philosophy of the Maison, founded on an artisanal and nature-respectful approach. It is crafted from a blend of Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir sourced from old vines mainly located in the Côteaux Sud d’Épernay and the Vallée de la Marne, terroirs that endow the wine with complexity and authenticity.
The vinification takes place partly in stainless steel vats and partly in oak barrels, enhancing aromatic depth and balance on the palate. After bottling, the cuvée ages for at least 24 months on the lees, followed by a dosage of less than 5 g/l, in Extra Brut style, which highlights freshness and expressive transparency.
On the palate, Ultradition displays a bright golden-yellow hue, enlivened by a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet opens with elegant notes of ripe fruit, citrus, and delicate hints of dried fruit. Lively and precise, it offers a vibrant minerality and an enveloping texture, where the structure of Meunier harmoniously meets the freshness of Chardonnay. The sip is both harmonious and dynamic, with lingering citrus, touches of hazelnut, and a taut, incisive finish — the pure and essential expression of the Maison’s style. A cuvée that faithfully reflects the dedication of the Laherte family to honoring the terroir and the traditions of Champagne.
