The Champagne Tradition by Gaston Chiquet reflects the most immediate and distinctive style of this historic vigneron from Dizy, one of the most representative family estates in the Vallée de la Marne. It is a Premier Cru Brut built on the balance between fruit, freshness and depth, with grapes mainly sourced from Hautvillers, Dizy and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, villages where clay, limestone and chalky soils help define a harmonious, approachable and terroir-driven Champagne.

This non-vintage edition is led by Meunier grapes, alongside Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, in an assemblage designed to combine roundness, precision and aromatic continuity. Vinification takes place in stainless steel with malolactic fermentation, following a parcel-by-parcel approach that preserves the character of the different crus before the final assemblage. After tirage, the wine ages on the lees for over 30 months, while the final dosage, in Brut style, maintains balance and drinkability.

In tasting, Tradition stands out for its fragrant and measured profile, with notes of citrus fruit, yellow fruit, subtle hints of dried fruit and lightly toasted nuances. On the palate, it shows a creamy texture well supported by freshness, with a linear progression, good energy and a clean finish. The finish is balanced, persistent and pleasantly savoury, ideal for those looking for a classic, elegant and highly drinkable Brut Champagne.
