Champagne Emilien Allouchery
Le RĂ©pertoire 2020
The Champagne Le Répertoire 2020 by Emilien Allouchery is a Blanc de Noirs of extraordinary elegance, made from 100% Pinot Noir harvested from old vines planted between 1966 and 1967. The vines grow on clay-sandy soils near the Premier Cru village of Écueil, in the Petite Montagne de Reims, and are cultivated using the massal selection method.
Produced from the 2020 harvest, it ferments 75% in fût de chêne and 25% in sandstone amphorae, aging on the lees for at least 10 months. The malolactic fermentation is partial, and the wine undergoes no filtration. After more than 30 months on the lees, it is disgorged with an Extra Brut dosage of just 1 g/l.
Upon tasting, Le RĂ©pertoire 2020 reveals remarkable depth and complexity. The nose offers intense banana notes, followed by elegant hints of toasted bread and butter. The palate is succulent and structured, with a long finish dominated by black fruits. A Champagne of character, refined and with a strong sensory impact.
The production is strictly limited to only 1,341 bottles.
