LCT "Les Caourdets" V21
The Champagne LCT «Les Caourdets» by Oudiette comes to life in the village of Beaunay, where Chardonnay meets chalky, clay-rich soils full of marine fossils that shape its distinctly mineral soul. This Blanc de Blancs tells of an artisanal philosophy deeply respectful of the raw material, devoted to expressing a single vineyard through measured human intervention and to conveying with authenticity its dynamic energy and luminous personality.
This edition, from the 2021 harvest, takes shape through a spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by eleven months of maturation in 228-litre oak barrels and carried out without bâtonnage or any filtration or stabilisation. After the tirage comes ageing on its own lees for a minimum of twenty-four months, while the final dosage of 1.5 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, keeps its varietal clarity and natural tension perfectly intact.
On tasting, LCT «Les Caourdets» stands out for a vibrant tension and an aromatic precision that reveal the full depth of its mineral profile, with an expressive texture that is always sharp, crystalline and perfectly coherent in every nuance. On the palate it shows a slender structure and refined balance, sustained by a long, saline persistence that confirms the subtle finesse and rare elegance of this authentic interpretation of terroir. Production in a limited run of 2,744 bottles.
