The Champagne Parallèle by Colin comes from Vertus, a Premier Cru village in the Côte des Blancs, and belongs to the Portrait de Famille range, through which the family tells over two centuries of history bound to the vine and the work of the land. This Blanc de Blancs cuvée is a tribute to the many families and generations that watched the Domaine grow, and it presents itself as a fascinating paradox between youthful drive on the palate and a pleasant complexity that unfolds on the nose, the expression of an authentic bond with the terroir that has always guided this family of vignerons.

This edition, built on the 2021 harvest for 60% and completed by a réserve perpétuelle started in 2004, fully showcases the Chardonnay of the Premier Cru of Vertus, cultivated according to the principles of a reasoned and conscious viticulture. Vinification and maturation take place in stainless steel vats and oak foudres, while after tirage the wine rests on the lees for a minimum of 24 months. The final dosage of 3 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, sustains its tension and precision.

On tasting, Parallèle reveals a saline character that asserts itself right from the attack, accompanied by a hint of liquorice that lends depth to the texture. The wine's tension then unfolds over citrus notes, offering an intense liveliness that runs through the entire palate, while bitter orange and citrus peel emerge on the finish. The close, supported by a finely woody and lightly tannic sensation, confirms a taut, rich structure of remarkable persistence.
