Champagne Antoine Bouvet
Bisseuil
The Champagne Bisseuil by Antonie Bouvet is born from the artisanal and transparent approach that characterises the young vigneron of the Vallée de la Marne, heir to the family tradition begun by his grandfather Guy Bouvet. The project interprets the identity of the Bisseuil Premier Cru through meticulous work on old vines and a production philosophy focused on purity and the depth of the terroir.
This edition, based on the 2022 harvest and completed with a selection of 2019 vin de réserve, comes from the lieux-dits Les Rocheforts (planted in 1958) and Les Pautes (planted in 1964), two historic parcels near the village of Bisseuil. The blend brings together equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, vinified according to a low-intervention style that enhances energy and precision. After tirage, the wine ages for 24 months on the lees; no final dosage, 0 g/l in Extra Brut style.
On the palate, Bisseuil reveals mineral tension and aromatic clarity, with a profile defined by citrus notes, white flowers and chalky nuances typical of the Premier Cru. On the palate it appears direct and vibrant, with balanced structure and a linear progression supported by the complete absence of dosage. The persistence is clean and saline, highlighting the finesse of the old vines and the essential character of Antoine’s interpretation.
