Champagne André Jacquart was founded in 1958 in Vertus, a Premier Cru village in the Côte des Blancs, by its namesake founder, already a respected vigneron in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Driven by the ambition to vinify his own cuvées, André embarked on an independent path focused on highlighting Chardonnay and the great terroirs of the area, gradually building a strong reputation based on precision, stylistic consistency, and deep vineyard knowledge.

Today the Domaine is run by his grandchildren, Marie and Benoît Doyard, who manage around 24 hectares divided into more than 200 parcels between Le Mesnil-sur-Oger Grand Cru and Vertus Premier Cru. In 2004 they undertook a significant rebranding, while preserving continuity with the original philosophy. During harvest, Marie personally selects the parcels by homogeneity, carrying out an initial form of blending directly in the vineyard, based on ripeness levels and overall grape quality.

In the cellar, the work follows a rigorous and respectful approach to the raw material, with vinifications aimed at clearly expressing the purity of Chardonnay and the identity of each cru. The careful use of vin de réserve and extended ageing on lees contribute to Champagnes that are elegant, precise and consistent, faithfully reflecting the chalky character and refined profile of the Côte des Blancs.
