The Champagne Achillea by Alexis Leconte is an extraordinary expression of the freshness and elegance of Pinot Noir grapes sourced exclusively from the unique terroir of Troissy in the Vallée de la Marne. The vines in this area are rooted in a rich and complex soil composed of limestone clays, sands, white and green marls, giving the wine a distinctive minerality and unique aromatic depth. This Blanc de Noirs is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes from the 2018 harvest, cultivated according to organic and biodynamic farming principles, in full respect of the natural cycle of the vines and the terroir. Vinification and ageing take place exclusively in 400-litre oak barrels, a process that enriches the wine's complexity and finesse. After a long maturation of 5 years on the lees, Achillea has a final dosage of only 3 g/l - making it a Brut Nature - enhancing the purity and natural freshness of Pinot Noir.

On the nose, Achillea offers a fascinating bouquet, characterised initially by smoky and spicy notes, which evolve into fresh and vibrant citrus scents. On the palate it reveals a fresh and elegant structure, with a refined texture and long persistence.
