The Champagne Blanc de Noirs by Alexandre Bonnet is made from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from estate-owned parcels in Les Riceys, in the Côte des Bar, one of the southernmost and most distinctive areas of Champagne. The Domaine, committed to sustainable viticulture, follows practices that respect biodiversity and the natural balance of the soil. The grapes come from 30-year-old vines, selected through a combination of clonal selection and massal selection, ensuring the greatest possible intra-varietal genetic diversity and a full expression of the terroir.This edition, based on the 2020 vintage, is crafted with the artisanal precision that defines the Domaine and is aged on the lees for at least 48 months, allowing the wine to develop aromatic complexity and depth. The dosage below 5 g/l, in Extra Brut style, preserves the purity of the fruit and its mineral tension, offering a clear and authentic interpretation of Pinot Noir from Les Riceys.On tasting, this Blanc de Noirs reveals a refined and fruity expression, emblematic of the Les Riceys terroir. The nose is complex and elegant, with notes of white and yellow-fleshed fruits — pear, peach, and apricot — accompanied by subtle spice, citrus hints, and fresh menthol nuances. On the palate, it is generous and mineral, showing excellent balance and saline depth, with a long, vibrant finish that highlights its natural elegance and precise expression.
