The Champagne Blanc de Noirs by Alexandre Bonnet is made from 100% Pinot Noir sourced from estate-owned parcels in Les Riceys, in the Côte des Bar, one of the southernmost and most distinctive areas of Champagne. The Domaine, committed to sustainable viticulture, follows practices that respect biodiversity and the natural balance of the soil. The grapes come from 30-year-old vines, selected through a combination of clonal selection and massal selection, ensuring the greatest possible intra-varietal genetic diversity and a full expression of the terroir.
This edition, based on the 2021 vintage, is crafted with the artisanal precision that defines the Domaine and is aged on the lees for at least 36 months, allowing the wine to develop aromatic complexity and depth. The dosage below 6 g/l, in Extra Brut style, preserves the purity of the fruit and its mineral tension, offering a clear and authentic interpretation of Pinot Noir from Les Riceys.
On tasting, this Blanc de Noirs reveals a refined and fruity expression, emblematic of the Les Riceys terroir. The nose is complex and elegant, with notes of white and yellow-fleshed fruits — pear, peach, and apricot — accompanied by subtle spice, citrus hints, and fresh menthol nuances. On the palate, it is generous and mineral, showing excellent balance and saline depth, with a long, vibrant finish that highlights its natural elegance and precise expression.

Located in Les Riceys, the only village in Champagne with three AOCs – Champagne, Rosé des Riceys and Côteaux Champenois – the Domaine Alexandre Bonnet stands as a benchmark in the Côte des Bar. Founded in 1970 by René, Serge and Alain Bonnet, the Domaine is now managed by the family with the support of Arbaud Fabre, appointed CEO in 2019. On steep slopes of Kimmeridgian limestone, the wines develop a singular identity that bridges Champagne and Burgundy.

The vineyard covers about 47 hectares, dedicated to the production of Champagne, Côteaux Champenois Rouge and Rosé des Riceys. The terroir of Les Riceys is expressed through selected parcels that yield wines of great finesse, depth, and authenticity. The winemaking philosophy combines tradition and innovation, with constant attention to grape quality and the precise expression of each plot.

For years, Domaine Alexandre Bonnet has stood out for its commitment to biodiversity: no use of herbicides or insecticides, the planting of orchards along vineyard edges, and the creation of flower fallows for bees. Certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) since 2015, the Domaine has also established a museum to preserve Champagne’s ancient grape varieties. The union of an exceptional terroir and sustainable practices gives life to refined, terroir-driven cuvées, a faithful reflection of Les Riceys.
