Grand Bouquet 2018
The Champagne Grand Bouquet 2018 by Vazart-Coquart is born from a rigorous selection of Chardonnay sourced from the finest parcels of Chouilly, a prestigious Grand Cru of the Côte des Blancs. The grapes come from the Lieux-Dits “Le Mont Aigu” and “La Cerisière,” two vineyards that express with finesse and complexity the most authentic identity of this extraordinary terroir.
From the 2018 harvest, this Blanc de Blancs is vinified with partial malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks, a choice that allows the preservation of freshness, aromatic precision, and mineral tension. After tirage, the wine ages on the lees for at least six years, developing depth, elegance, and a perfectly integrated structure. The final dosage of 3.5 g/l, in Extra Brut style, underscores its purity and natural balance.
On tasting, Grand Bouquet 2018 presents a bright golden yellow color, animated by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers a refined bouquet with citrus notes, white flowers, and a subtle mineral imprint, enriched by elegant hints of hazelnut, pastry, and light toastiness. On the palate, it reveals vibrant freshness, an enveloping structure, and notable persistence, with a long, harmonious, and perfectly balanced finish.
