The Champagne Intuition by Vadin-Plateau represents an immediate and authentic expression of the Vallée de la Marne, born from the artisanal work of a family-run domaine deeply connected to its territory. The vineyards, spread across Cumières, Hautvillers, and Champillon, are cultivated with an environmentally respectful approach, focusing on organic viticulture, massal selection, and the enhancement of specific pedoclimatic conditions and exposures. Intuition, crafted from 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, and 30% Meunier, is conceived as an identity-driven cuvée, designed to convey balance, precision, and a transparent reading of the terroir, free from stylistic embellishments.

Vinification and fermentation take place partly in stainless steel and partly in wood, exclusively with indigenous yeasts, without fining or filtration. After tirage, the wine undergoes lees ageing for a minimum of 48 months, aimed at building complexity and depth while preserving energy and definition. The Extra Brut dosage, around 2 g/l, highlights the tension and expressive purity of the wine.

In tasting, Intuition reveals a clean and refined profile, supported by a fine and continuous perlage. The bouquet opens with notes of citrus, reinette apple, and white flowers, accompanied by delicate mineral nuances. On the palate, the attack is taut and precise, driven by lively, well-integrated acidity, with a balanced structure that evolves naturally into a long, harmonious saline finish, combining freshness, depth, and excellent drinkability.
