The Champagne Rosé by Fabrice Pouillon is born in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, a village classified as Premier Cru in the Vallée de la Marne, where mature vines on clay-limestone soils express all the depth of Pinot Noir. This wine tells the story of a clear and bold choice, that of obtaining its colour not through blending but through maceration, bringing character and elegance into dialogue while respecting the natural rhythm of the vine.

This edition, based on the 2022 harvest with 20% from 2021 vins de réserve, draws its colour from a brief maceration on the skins lasting a few hours. Vinification and maturation take place in fût de chêne, where the greater part of the wine matures for eight months while the remaining twenty per cent continues longer, up to eighteen months, before being assembled to balance the tannins with the mellowness of the wood. After the tirage comes a minimum ageing of around eighteen months on the lees, with a final dosage below 4 g/l, in an Extra Brut style.

On the palate, Rosé de Macération reveals a lively, intense colour that introduces a profile marked by crisp red fruits such as raspberry and morello cherry, sustained by a delicate spiciness. The texture is juicy and enveloping, run through by a mineral tension that lends drive and dynamism. The persistence is long and flavourful, leaving a harmonious and vibrant sensation that bears witness to the great personality of this Rosé.
