Champagne RĂ©my Lequeux-Mercier
1ère Connexion 2006
The Champagne 1ère Connexion by Rémy Lequeux-Mercier is the result of an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from old vines located around Passy-sur-Marne, on the right bank of the Vallée de la Marne. The terroir, defined by clay-limestone soils over sand, promotes balanced ripening and a clear expression of the vintage, while the unspoiled, biodiversity-rich natural environment supports a vibrant and mindful viticulture.
This cuvée comes from the 2006 harvest and is the product of meticulous artisanal work, culminating in an impressive 16-years ageing on the lees. The result is a Brut Nature Champagne (0 g/l) with a mature and layered personality, reflecting a deep dialogue between time, matter, and human intuition.
On the palate, 1ère Connexion it reveals enveloping depth and rare balance, the emblem of a production philosophy that honours slowness and contemplation. Produced in a limited and individually numbered edition, “1ère Connexion” was made in only 865 bottles, testifying to the uniqueness of a wine that interprets time with elegance and precision.
