Champagne RĂ©my Lequeux-Mercier
Millésime 2005
Lo Champagne Millésime di Rémy Lequeux-Mercier prende forma a Passy-sur-Marne, nel Terroir de Condé nella Vallée de la Marne, dove il paesaggio alterna fiume e foresta e le vigne si sviluppano su pendii esposti a sud. In questo contesto, i suoli argillo-calcarei con componente sabbiosa favoriscono un equilibrio tra maturità e tensione, mentre viti con un’età media di circa 40 anni contribuiscono a conferire profondità e definizione. Ne nasce un’espressione che riflette con coerenza l’identità del territorio, con un profilo al tempo stesso generoso e preciso.
Questa edizione, Millésime 2005, nasce da un equilibrio tra 50% Chardonnay e 50% Pinot Noir. La vinificazione e fermentazione sono condotte con l’obiettivo di preservare integrità e struttura, mentre dopo il tiraggio il vino affronta un lungo affinamento sui lieviti di oltre 18 anni, sviluppando complessità e articolazione. L’assenza di dosaggio esalta la purezza del vino, in stile Brut Nature, che definisce un profilo netto, teso e di grande precisione.
In degustazione, Millésime 2005 esprime un profilo evoluto e complesso, con note di frutta secca, sfumature leggermente ossidative e richiami minerali. Al palato mostra profondità e struttura, sostenute da una freschezza ben integrata e da una trama solida, con una chiusura lunga, asciutta e persistente.
La produzione èa tiratura limitata a sole 3.780 bottiglie.
