The Champagne Le Mont Ferré by Pierre Baillette is a refined Blanc de Blancs, crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from the Lieu-Dit "Les Monthouzons", a vineyard parcel located near the Premier Cru village of Trois-Puits, in the Montagne de Reims, where chalky soils enhance freshness and minerality.
The 2020 harvest was vinified and matured in 350-liter fûts for 10 months, without any filtration. After the tirage, the wine rested for at least 24 months on the lees, until disgorgement, which includes a final dosage of 3 g/l in Extra Brut style, preserving the purity of the fruit and the identity of the terroir.
On the palate, Le Mont Ferré reveals a fine and persistent perlage, with aromas of fresh citrus, white flowers, and mineral nuances. The taste is marked by tension, balance, and elegance, supported by vibrant freshness that carries through to a long-lasting finish.
