C. de Rosé Magnum
The Champagne C. de Rosé by Perseval-Farge originates from Premier Cru vineyards in Chamery, in the Montagne de Reims, and is crafted from a blend dominated by Pinot Noir and Meunier, complemented by around 40% Chardonnay. The cuvée expresses an elegant and well-defined style, where balance and precision merge with an authentic interpretation of the terroir.
This edition, with 2014 as the base vintage, is enriched by approximately 48% vin de réserve from vintages spanning 2013 to 2010. Vinification and fermentation take place separately in stainless steel and about 20% in oak barrels, with only partial malolactic fermentation, a choice that preserves freshness and tension. After bottling, the wine undergoes at least 7 years of ageing on the lees, essential for developing complexity and structure. The final dosage of 5.5 g/l, in Brut style, supports balance without weighing down the progression.
On the palate, C. de Rosé stands out for its broad and layered profile. The nose reveals notes of ripe red berries and wild fruits, accompanied by citrus nuances and light evolved hints. It is structured and enveloping, supported by well-defined freshness and a precise mineral backbone, leading to a long, harmonious, and persistent finish that enhances its elegance and depth.
