V.V.V Rosé

The Champagne V.V.V Rosé by Matthieu Godmé-Guillaume is the result of an original and deeply expressive blend: 50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 10% Coteaux Rouge de Verzenay. The latter contributes a delicate rosé hue and a subtle tannic imprint, thanks to the addition of a still red wine from the same Grand Cru village. The grapes are hand-harvested from selected parcels in Verzenay, Verzy, and Villers-Marmery, in the northern sector of the Montagne de Reims.

Vinification is carried out with great precision: the must ferments in selected French oak barrels, where the wine then matures for around 9 months. No filtration or fining is applied, in order to preserve the purity of the raw material. This is followed by an ageing period on the lees of approximately 16 months, prior to disgorgement. The final Extra Brut dosage (3 g/l) enhances the freshness and saline energy typical of the terroir.

On tasting, V.V.V Rosé reveals a bright and expressive profile: the nose opens with notes of crisp red berries, ripe citrusand floral nuances, while the palate is fine and vibrant, marked by a chalky tension that elegantly extends the finish. A Rosé Champagne that authentically reflects Matthieu Godmé’s artisanal vision and winemaking sensitivity.
