The Champagne Exigence by Legras & Haas is born from the meeting of two iconic Champagne territories: Aÿ and Chouilly, both Grand Cru villages. This cuvée blends 50% Pinot Noir from Aÿ and 50% Chardonnay from Chouilly, combining structure and depth with tension and mineral brightness. Exigence represents the maison’s most distinctive and ambitious expression, conceived as a timeless wine capable of uniting richness, elegance, and precision.

This Edition, N°11, is based on a réserve perpétuelle initiated in 1995, a heritage that brings layering, stylistic continuity, and evolutionary depth. The winemaking approach is designed to enhance the balance between maturity and freshness, highlighting the complementarity of the two Grand Crus and amplifying complexity and harmony. The result is a cuvée with refined texture, built on rigorous proportions and a classic style that is rich yet perfectly calibrated.

On the palate, Exigence N°11 reveals aromas of brioche, dried fruit, and hints of fruit brandy on the nose, supported by notes of ripe citrus and delicate toasted nuances. It unfolds with breadth and roundness, displaying a sophisticated, layered structure balanced by vibrant freshness and an elegant texture. The finish is long and subtle, fresh and harmonious, evolving with finesse and offering an authoritative and complex interpretation of the Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend.
