Cuvée 150ème Anniversaire
The Champagne Cuvée 150ème Anniversaire by Leclerc Briant is a limited edition, individually numbered release of just 3,000 bottles, created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Maison in Épernay, a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Champagne. An emblematic cuvée that blends history and innovation with the unmistakable stylistic signature of the house.
The blend is composed of 50% Meunier and 50% Chardonnay, rigorously selected from the 2014 harvest, enriched with 10% solera (2008–2010) from the Lieu-Dit Chèvres Pierreuses. After tirage, the wine rests for more than 7 years on its lees, before being completed with a minimal dosage, highlighting purity, tension, and elegance.
On the palate, the Cuvée 150ème Anniversaire reveals a deep straw-yellow hue, luminous and satin-like, animated by a fine and persistent mousse. The bouquet opens with creamy and soft notes of orange blossom, honey, and toasted bread. The mouthfeel is rich and enveloping, sustained by vibrant fruit-driven tones and an harmonious structure, leading into a long finish of great refinement and persistence.
