Champagne Jérôme Blin
Les Ports
The Champagne Les Ports by Jérôme Blin comes from a single parcel located near Vincelles, along the banks of the Marne. Planted in 1986 and now with an average vine age of 50 years, this vineyard enjoys southern exposure and grows on loamy soils, which help shape the wine’s delicate and vibrant profile.
This edition, made from the 2020 harvest, is composed of 90% Meunier and the remaining 10% Pinot Blanc and Petit Meslier (cépages oubliés), co-planted in the same parcel. Vinification takes place in 228-litre oak barrels, with spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts, and no malolactic fermentation. The wine undergoes light filtration, without fining, to preserve its integrity. Disgorgement is carried out without dosage – Zéro Dosage – for a pure and authentic expression of the terroir.
On the palate, Les Ports stands out for its saline energy and chiselled texture, with notes of white-fleshed fruit, floral nuances, and a subtle mineral tension. Production is extremely limited to just 1,690 bottles, underlining the exclusive nature of this cuvée parcellaire.
