Princes Blanc de Noirs
Gli Champagne della prestigiosa selezione Princes di De Venoge nascono da una cuvée creata già nel 1864 da Joseph de Venoge in omaggio ai Principi d'Orange, ancora oggi proposta nell'inconfondibile bottiglia a forma di caraffa che evoca le abitudini della grande aristocrazia europea, solita decantare lo Champagne in flaconi di cristallo. Frutto di una minuziosa selezione di uve provenienti dai migliori cru della regione, la linea Princes si distingue per la sua raffinata eleganza e per una bella trama acida che ne rappresenta la cifra stilistica più autentica e riconoscibile.
This Princes Blanc de Noirs edition is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, selected mainly among the Premier and Grand Cru of the Montagne de Reims, in particular Verzy and Verzenay, and completed by a parcel selection from the village of Les Riceys, in the Côte des Bar, which broadens its aromatic richness. The blend also incorporates around 30% vin de réserve to lend depth and continuity, while after tirage it rests on its own lees for at least five years before dégorgement, with a final dosage of 6 g/l, in Brut style, that completes its profile.
On tasting, Princes Blanc de Noirs stands out for its full, vinous structure, sustained by a lively freshness that sets its rhythm and balances its breadth with measure. The texture is dense and well articulated, capable of combining aromatic richness and energy in a cohesive whole of great personality. On the palate it develops with breadth and depth, closing on a long, savoury persistence in which vinosity and finesse coexist with elegance and continuity.
