The Champagne Besace by Bardiau is a cuvée parcellaire made exclusively from 100% Pinot Noir, sourced from the eponymous parcel located on portlandian soils in the village of Verpillières-sur-Ource, in the heart of the Côte des Bar. This Blanc de Noirs is the result of Jérémy artisanal and meticulous vision, based on a respectful, low-intervention approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

Vinification and ageing take place entirely in fût bourguignonne, underscoring the desire to express the identity of the terroir at its best. After tirage, the wine matures for a minimum of 30 months on the lees, before being disgorged with a low final dosage of 1 g/l, in an Extra Brut style designed to highlight the expressive transparency of the grape variety and its soil.

On tasting, Besace stands out for the elegance of its perlage, which preludes a complex and structured sensory experience, where substance merges with mineral tension in a balance of rare finesse. On the nose, it opens with a frank attack, followed by the gradual emergence of the complexity and power of Pinot Noir. The palate is dominated by intense notes of red berries, lifted by a citrusy freshness that adds energy and precision. The long, gourmand finishseals the tasting with elegance, fully revealing the bold yet refined character of a Blanc de Noirs cuvée deeply rooted in the identity of the Côte des Bar.
