Bérèche & Fils

Founded in 1847 by Albert Bérèche in Ludes, on the slopes of the Montagne de Reims, the Maison Bérêche & Fils safeguards nearly two centuries of family history, now entrusted to the fifth generation with brothers Vincent and Raphaël. The former devotes himself to the vineyard, the latter to winemaking, in a constant dialogue that unites heritage and vision. Between the Montagne de Reims and the Vallée de la Marne, the house's identity has taken shape generation after generation, in the name of authenticity and faithfulness to its terroir.

The vineyard comprises around eleven hectares across Premier and Grand Cru villages, from Ambonnay to Cramant and Aÿ-Champagne, with Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay on soils of chalk, clay and sand, farmed with practices close to organic and certified Haute Valeur Environnementale. In the cellar, ample room is given to spontaneous fermentations and to oak barrels of varying capacity, used for both vinification and maturation, while tirage under cork stoppers refines the wines through controlled oxidation. A return to ancestral techniques, guided by mindfulness.
