The Champagne Les Égarés n°15 by Prophète Yann comes from Landreville, in the Barséquanais, as an authentic and artisanal expression of a terroir that the vigneron interprets with a free and highly personal vision. The philosophy embraces organic farming and an uncompromising approach, in which every oenological choice responds to a precise idea of craftsmanship and long patience. A Blanc de Noirs cuvée conceived as an authentic portrait of Pinot Noir, interpreted with a vision capable of carving out an unmistakable and unrepeatable identity.

This edition, from the 2015 harvest, marks the beginning of a long ageing journey that forges its character. Vinification and fermentation take place in fût de chêne with a maturation of 24 months in wood, obtained from Pinot Noir grapes coming from old vines planted in 1973. After tirage, the wine rests on the lees for 7 years in the historic 19th-century cellars, before a dégorgement with no dosage, in Brut Nature style, to enhance the expressive purity of the grape variety.

On tasting, the wine reveals a golden hue crossed by a fine and continuous perlage, which introduces a vibrant palate defined by ripe yellow fruit, candied orange peel and hints of pastry and sweet spices. The structure is ample and enveloping, sustained by a taut acidity that dialogues with an incisive salinity, delivering depth and tension without weighing down. The finish is long, savoury and of rare clarity, with a persistence that reflects a generous harvest and an off-the-scale maturation. Production in a limited run of 577 bottles and 20 magnums.
