Champagne Pierre Gimonnet
Fleuron 2019
The Champagne Fleuron 2019 by Pierre Gimonnet is a Blanc de Blancs that rigorously embodies the identity of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs. This cuvée represents one of the Domaine’s most authentic expressions, conceived to highlight the purity and elegance of the vintage.
The grapes come 75.5% from the Grand Cru vineyards of Cramant and Chouilly and 24.5% from the Premier Cru of Cuis, parcels carefully selected to ensure a balance of aromatic depth, freshness and mineral tension. Vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel to preserve stylistic precision, followed by more than three years of ageing on the lees. The final Extra Brut dosage (5 g/l) enhances energy and transparency without masking the voice of the terroir.
On the palate, Fleuron 2019 reveals a refined and luminous profile, with notes of ripe citrus, white flowers, delicate herbs, and a pronounced chalky minerality. The texture is finely chiselled, sustained by an elegant and persistent effervescence that leads to a tense, saline and harmonious finish.
