Grands Terroirs 2015
The Champagne Grands Terroirs 2015 by Palmer & Co represents the quintessence of an exceptional vintage, born from the harmonious meeting between the character of the year and the unmistakable style of the Maison. Sourced exclusively from Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the Montagne de Reims, this Vintage reveals a rare complexity and seductive elegance, a perfect balance between power and freshness. The 2015 vintage stands out for its high temperatures and low rainfall during most of the growing season, followed by sunny summer days and cool nights in August, ideal conditions for the perfect ripening of the grapes.
The blend is composed of 50% Chardonnay, 38% Pinot Noir and 12% Meunier, from Grand Crus such as Maillyand Verzenay and Premier Crus including Trépail, Villers-Marmery, Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses and Rilly-la-Montagne. After more than 5 years on the lees and with a dosage of 7 g/l in Brut style, Grands Terroirs 2015 fully expresses the historic and emblematic philosophy of Palmer & Co, showcasing the richness and purity of the great terroirs.
On the palate, Grands Terroirs 2015 opens with a subtle and captivating bouquet of orange blossom and acacia, intertwined with ripe yellow fruit and enriched by spicy hints of caramelised pineapple and tonka bean. The vibrant citrus freshness enhances notes of brioche and dried fruit; its creamy texture lingers in a long, persistent finish, delivering a Vintage Champagne of intensity, seduction, and the utmost elegance.
