The Champagne Confidentielle by Odile Thieullet takes shape in Châtillon-sur-Marne, in the Vallée de la Marne, from selected parcels planted with Meunier. In this area, marked by green clay soils over calcareous marls, the grape variety reveals an intense and distinctive expression, capable of combining textural depth with marked mineral tension. This Blanc de Noirs interpretation reflects a precise and artisanal vision of Champagne, created to highlight the most authentic character of Meunier through an essential and uncompromising approach.

This edition, based on the 2023 harvest with 50% reserve wines from the 2022 harvest, comes from a growing season marked by optimal ripeness that encouraged balance and aromatic expressiveness. Vinification and maturation take place in fût de chêne, enhancing structure and depth on the palate. After tirage, the wine undergoes approximately 24 months of ageing on the lees. Without final dosage, it is presented in a Brut Nature style, offering a pure, vibrant, and rigorous interpretation of Meunier.

In tasting, Confidentielle reveals an intense and vertical profile, with notes of ripe yellow fruit, citrus, aromatic herbs, and delicate chalky nuances. On the palate, it stands out for its energy, precision, and depth, supported by a mineral backbone that leads into a long, saline finish. The balance between texture and freshness enhances an authentic and assertive personality, designed for enthusiasts seeking Champagnes with strong territorial identity and character. Production in a limited run of 3,460 bottles.
