The Champagne Cuvée du Goulté by Marie-Noëlle Ledru is a Blanc de Noirs made from Pinot Noir, sourced from vineyards in Ambonnay, a Grand Cru village in the Montagne de Reims. The parcels, with vines aged 30–40 years, are worked with deliberately low yields and according to an artisanal and essential approach, reflecting the philosophy of Marie-Noëlle Ledru, known as “Madame Pinot Noir” for her rare ability to express with elegance and precision the character of this emblematic grape of the region.

This edition, Vintage 2016, takes shape through vinification and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, a choice that favors purity and balance while maintaining depth and complexity, enhancing the natural intensity of the terroir. Spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts, without fining or filtration, help preserve integrity and expressive precision, while after tirage the wine undergoes lees ageing for over 7 years, guiding it toward greater structure and depth. The final dosage below 2 g/l, in Extra Brut style, completes the profile with coherence, maintaining a clean and transparent expression.

On the palate, Cuvée du Goulté 2016 stands out for its intensity and expressive richness, with a profile ranging from ripe red fruits and candied citrus to delicate notes of bread crust, accompanied by mineral hints and light toasty nuances. The structure is broad and deep, supported by a mineral tension that drives the wine toward a long, savory, and elegant finish, highlighting a style defined by finesse, depth, and remarkable balance.
