Bourdon 2019
Champagne Bourdon 2019 by Laculle Frères is a Blanc de Blancs made from 100% Chardonnay grapes, sourced from 20- to 30-year-old vines grown on clay-limestone soils in the Lieu-Dit Bourdon, located in Chervey, in the heart of the Côte des Bar.
Harvested in 2019, the wine undergoes fermentation and aging in fût de chêne (oak barrels) for about 10 months. After tirage, it matures for at least 48 months on its lees, with a final dosage of 0 g/l, classifying it as Brut Nature.
Upon tasting, Champagne Bourdon 2019 reveals a pale yellow hue with light golden reflections. The bouquet is refined and complex, offering fruity notes of yellow plum, ripe citrus, and spring flowers, enriched by toasty nuancesof bread crust and delicate spicy hints of sweet vanilla and white pepper. On the palate, it shows a harmonious structure, combining depth and freshness, with elegant vibrancy and a precise, persistent finish.
