The origins of Domaine Jeaunaux-Robin date back to 1971, when Michel and Marie-Claude Jeaunaux began their winemaking activity in Talus-Saint-Prix, at the border between the Côte des Blancs and the Côte de Sézanne, in the picturesque Vallée du Petit Morin. In 2000, the estate was passed on to Cyril Jeaunaux, who, together with his wife Clémence Robin, now leads the domaine with a style rooted in tradition but strongly focused on sustainability. The approximately 5 hectares of vineyards are cultivated organically, with biodynamic practices applied in some parcels, in full respect of the environment and the natural balance of the vineyard.

The main grape variety is Meunier, chosen for its resistance to late frosts, but the couple also aims to highlight Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in selected plots, capable of expressing elegance and tension. The clay-limestone soils rich in silica give the Domaine’s Champagnes a strong mineral identity, combining finesse, structure, and typicity. Vinifications take place in stainless steel and fût de chêne, with the frequent choice to avoid malolactic fermentation in order to preserve the wine’s freshness and energy.

The production philosophy at Jeaunaux-Robin is rooted in meticulous artisanal work and a desire to express the terroir through genuine and distinctive cuvées. The wines undergo long ageing on the lees and have low or moderate dosage, resulting in a style that emphasizes clarity, verticality, and aromatic depth. With a limited, detail-oriented production, Jeaunaux-Robin stands out in the Champagne landscape for its consistency, environmental sensitivity, and a clear, contemporary vision of tradition.
