Champagne Gilbert Leseurre
Tradition
The Champagne Tradition by Gilbert Leseurre is a Blanc de Noirs made from 100% Pinot Noir, grown in a single parcel located in the village of Arrentières, in the heart of the Aube. The 2022 harvest, the sole base of this cuvée, reflects the authentic imprint of the terroir, characterized by clay-limestone soils that give the wine both structure and identity.
Vinification in stainless steel enhances the varietal freshness and allows for a direct, crystalline expression of Pinot Noir. This is followed by at least 18 months of lees ageing, a crucial phase that adds subtle complexity and a finely textured mousse. The Brut dosage, set at 5.5 g/l, strikes a precise balance between tension and roundness.
On the palate, Tradition stands out for its fresh, crisp and saline profile, supported by a pronounced minerality that defines its character. A cuvée with a clear sense of place, it sincerely conveys the essence of the Leseurre style and the vibrant energy of the Côte des Bar.
