Champagne Gilbert Leseurre

Tradition Magnum

Champagne Tradition by Gilbert Leseurre is the result of 100% Pinot Noir from vineyards of a single parcel in the Municipality of Arrenitères, in the Aube. Produced from grapes harvested from a single harvest, that of 2021, this Blanc de Noirs reflects the authenticity of the Aube terroir and its particular mineral composition. Vinification in steel with an 36 month rest on the yeasts, Champagne Tradition is fresh, crunchy, sapid and makes minerality its strong point. Dosage within the limits of Brut (5.5 g/l).

Gilbert Leseurre

In Arrentières, a small town in the Aube, stands the Domaine Gilbert Leseurre, managed by Gilbert, the fourth generation of the family, who has been producing Champagne under his own name since 1979. Gilbert owns 7ha of vineyards divided into 17 parcels in the Municipalities of Arrenitères, Colombé-le-Sec, Voigny and Rouvres-les-Vignes, distinguished between Pinot Noir (80%), Meunier (10%) and Chardonnay (10%).

This particular subdivision of the vineyard is an advantage for the Domaine, which thus enjoys the different specificities of the terroir, benefiting from the peculiar compositions of the soil and the different exposures to the sun; characteristics that are reflected in the organoleptic profiles of its Cuvées. Production is only 30,000 bottles. Since 2016, Gilbert has embarked on the path of wine tourism, creating two luxury accommodations in the heart of the vineyard.
