The Champagne Oger by Domaine Vincey is a Blanc de Blancs that gives voice to one of the most renowned Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, through a selection of old Chardonnay vines located around Oger. Here, deeply chalky soils shape an expression of great purity, tension and depth, yielding a luminous and vertical Chardonnay that precisely conveys the identity of an iconic terroir and the artisanal sensitivity with which it is interpreted.

This edition, from the 2022 harvest, takes shape through vinification and fermentation carried out entirely in oak barrels. There the wine matures for twelve months without malolactic fermentation and without fining or filtration, fully consistent with a natural approach that respects the raw material. After tirage, carried out traditionally under cork and agrafe, the wine rests for around 30 months on the lees, while the choice to forgo any final dosage, in Brut Nature style, enhances precision, purity and essentiality.

On tasting, Oger 2022 stands out for its intensity and mineral tension, with aromas of fresh citrus, white-fleshed fruit and white flowers, enriched by chalky notes and delicate hints of hazelnut. On the palate it is taut and vibrant, supported by an incisive mineral texture and a balance of great precision leading to a saline, elegant finish of long persistence, an authentic expression of the Oger terroir.
