The Champagne Blanc de Blancs Vieilles Vignes by Hélène comes from the Côte des Blancs, between the Grand Cru villages of Cramant, Chouilly and Oger, where old Chardonnay vines rooted in deep chalk soils give rise to wines of strong mineral identity and remarkable precision. This cuvée represents the purest and most rigorous interpretation of Pierre Hugot’s vision, a vigneron who, after gaining experience in leading Burgundy Domaines, chose to enhance his family heritage through an artisanal approach deeply respectful of the terroir.

This edition, based on the 2023 harvest, is interpreted through spontaneous fermentations with indigenous yeasts and maturation divided between stainless steel and wood, a choice that slowly guides the wine’s evolution while preserving its original tension. After tirage, the wine undergoes more than 24 months of ageing on the lees, contributing greater depth, aromatic complexity and continuity on the palate. The final dosage of 1,5 g/l, in Extra Brut style, preserves a saline, vertical and particularly precise expression.

In tasting, Blanc de Blancs Vieilles Vignes reveals aromas of ripe citrus, lime, white flowers, fresh almond and delicate hints of brioche and fine pastry. On the palate, the texture is taut and luminous, supported by a pronounced chalky imprint that leads into a long, savoury and elegant finish. Production in a limited run of 3,200 bottles.
