ADN de Foudre - Meunier V19
The Champagne ADN de Foudre - Meunier by Christophe Mignon rigorously and confidently interprets the character of Meunier in the Vallée de la Marne, taking shape between Festigny and Le Breuil from vines averaging 48 years of age, rooted in clay-silt-limestone soils with south and south-west exposure. This Blanc de Noirs stems from an artisanal vision that emphasizes agronomic precision and territorial identity, aiming to deliver a clear, глубок and coherent expression of the grape variety.
This edition, 2019 vintage, is made from 100% Meunier vinified on a parcel-by-parcel basis. Fermentations take place in enamel-lined steel vats, followed by approximately one year of ageing in oak foudre, without malolactic fermentation, in order to preserve tension and aromatic definition. After tirage, the wine rests in bottle for about five years on its lees, gaining further complexity and structural depth. The dosage is minimal, in Brut Nature style, enhancing its expressive transparency.
On the palate, ADN de Foudre - Meunier reveals a layered bouquet with toasted nuances, hints of ripe fruit and a subtle touch of oak. It stands out for its creaminess and vibrant tension, supported by a solid structure and precise texture. The finish is intense and linear, with a balance that integrates substance and freshness, defining a Meunier of strong character and clear territorial imprint.
