Champagne Christophe Mignon
ADN de Meunier Millésime 2018
The Champagne ADN de Meunier Millésime 2018 by Christophe Mignon is a vintage expression of remarkable purity, entirely dedicated to the emblematic grape variety of the Vallée de la Marne: Meunier. The grapes come from vineyards located in Festigny and Le Breuil, rooted in clay–silt–limestone soils, with an average parcel age of 48 years. The vineyard is farmed according to the principles of biodynamics and natural agriculture, striking a balance between technical precision and holistic sensitivity.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels, using indigenous yeasts and with no oenological corrections. After bottling, the wine ages on the lees for a minimum of 48 months, before being disgorged manually à la volée. The final dosage is 0 g/l (Brut Nature), and the sulphur content is kept to a minimum, in line with Christophe Mignon’s essential and respectful philosophy.
On the palate, ADN de Meunier Millésime 2018 stands out for its intense and profound profile: notes of ripe red fruits, candied citrus and herbal nuances blend with a precise mineral vein. The mouthfeel is vibrant and taut, carried by extremely fine bubbles and a saline finish, which authentically reflects the character of the terroir and the vintage.
