The Champagne Rosé Guy Bouvet by Antoine Bouvet represents an elegant and profound interpretation of the Champenois terroir, produced in extremely limited quantities. The result of the 2013 harvest, it is made from 90% Pinot Noir sourced from vineyards with an average age of 40 years, located in the prestigious villages of Mareuil-sur-Aÿand Avenay-Val-d'Or. The addition of 10% Vin Rouge imparts chromatic intensity and aromatic complexity, while a long ageing on the lees — around ten years — and an Extra Brut dosage (2 g/l) refine its profile, giving it an essential, vibrant, and impeccably chiselled style.
On tasting, the Rosé Guy Bouvet reveals a pale, luminous pink hue, marked by a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet opens with notes of fresh red fruits, pomegranate, and orange zest, then evolves into more mature nuances of sweet spices, dried petals, and a delicate mineral trace. On the palate, it is precise and dynamic, with a flavour profile that plays on the balance between tension and roundness, closing with a savoury and refined finish that underscores its territorial identity.
