The Champagne Grand Réserve by André Clouet is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, mainly sourced from the Grand Cru vineyards of Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims, and consistently expresses the House’s most classic and recognizable profile. This Blanc de Noirs offers a precise interpretation of a historically renowned terroir, where the grape achieves depth, structure, and energy, delivering an intense yet always balanced expression of André Clouet’s style.
For this Blanc de Noirs, vinification and fermentation take place in barriques from Chateau Doisy Daëne, a historic estate in Sauternes, a choice that enhances aromatic complexity and broadens the wine’s texture. Part of the evolution also occurs in wood, while manual remuage reflects a careful and traditional production approach. The final dosage, in Brut style, supports a harmonious balance between expressive richness and freshness.
In tasting, Grand RĂ©serve shows a straw yellow color with golden reflections and a fine perlage. The aromatic profile combines floral notes, hints of white fruit, accents of red berries, honey, and spices, in a clear and engaging progression. On the palate, it reveals a creamy texture supported by good tension, with a persistent finish that highlights a distinct mineral character.
