Champagne Augustin
FeuChampagne Feu by Augustin is the result of 100% Pinot Noir grapes from old vineyards of a single Cru in Avenay Val d'Or in the Vallée de la Marne.Biodynamic viticulture without the use of pesticides and in harmony with the phases of the moon is the foundation of Marc Augustin's production philosophy who sees the element of fire as the symbol of transformation, intensity and unpredictability. This is how the correlation between fire and this warm and radiant cuvée was born.Product of the 2015 harvest, the principles of biodynamics are also followed in the cellar. The alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous with the use of unfiltered indigenous yeasts and is done partly in wooden barrels (about 50%), partly in terracotta jars (about 20%) and partly in steel (about 30%), with aging sur lies for 11 months. Long bottle aging for approximately 72 months. No added dosage. Champagne Feu is a Blanc de Noirs with character and energy, hints of vanilla and hints of pastry on the nose, the palate is fresh with citrus notes, energetic and harmonious. - Shipping and returns
