The Champagne Les Vignes Suzaines by Sadi Malot originates from the Lieu-Dit Les Suzaines, within the Grand Cru of Verzy in the Montagne de Reims, from Chardonnay vines cultivated under organic conversion. This cuvée represents a distinctive and contemporary interpretation of the Verzy terroir, a rare area historically dominated by red grape varieties, here expressed through a Blanc de Blancs of marked personality and expressive precision.
This Millésime 2021 edition is vinified in 950-liter ovoid vats made of natural concrete, a technical choice aimed at promoting constant and gentle micro-oxygenation, enhancing complexity without compromising tension and definition. The absence of enological manipulation and the final Extra Brut dosage of just 2 g/l help define a style that is essential, balanced, and deeply connected to its soil of origin.
On tasting, Les Vignes Suzaines stands out for its vibrant freshness and pronounced minerality, which guide its evolution with great precision. The aromatic profile is elegant and intense, featuring white flowers, fresh citrus notes, and subtle chalky nuances.
