Champagne Robert Moncuit
Rosé Les Romarines
The Champagne Rosé Les Romarines by Robert Moncuit is a refined and luminous cuvée, born from the union of 93% Chardonnay sourced from the Grand Cru vineyards of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and 7% Pinot Noir harvested in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy. A meeting between the chalky purity of the Côte des Blancs and the generosity of the Montagne de Reims, interpreted with the essential elegance that defines the Domaine.
For this edition, the 2020 base vintage was vinified and matured entirely in oak barrels for 10 months, enriching the wine with depth and harmony while preserving its freshness. After bottling, the wine aged for a minimum of 36 months on the lees, gaining complexity and balance. No dosage was added (0 g/l), in Extra Brut style, highlighting the purity and transparency of the fruit.
On the palate, Les Romarines shows a delicate salmon pink hue with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet reveals aromas of small red berries, citrus fruits, white flowers and subtle pastry notes. It is both taut and velvety, with mineral freshness supporting a creamy and precise texture, leading to a clean, elegant finish of vibrant harmony.
