Champagne Pinot-Chevauchet
Joyeuse Magnum
The Champagne Joyeuse by Pinot-Chevauchet is a cuvée with a lively and harmonious profile, made from a blend of 80% Meunier and 20% Chardonnay, sourced from carefully selected plots in the villages of Moussy and Pierry, classified as Premier Cru in the Vallée de la Marne. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel, activated by indigenous yeasts, with malolactic fermentation occurring in spring. The second fermentation in bottle lasts for at least 4 years on its lees, with a final dosage of 5 g/l, aimed at preserving the characteristics of the terroir of origin, giving the wine balance and roundness.
On tasting, Joyeuse stands out visually for its brilliant golden yellow color and a fine, persistent effervescence. The aromatic profile reveals notes of pastry, dried fruit, and a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is fresh and enveloping, with hints of honey, hazelnut, and an elegant finish on a mineral texture that clearly expresses the identity of its origin.
A Champagne that embodies the savoir-faire of the Pinot-Chevauchet family, vignerons for four generations, and conveys a message of joy, as suggested by its very name.
