The Champagne Perpétuelle by Laborde springs from the idea of capturing the soul of a rare terroir, that of Nogent-l'Abbesse, an ancient outcrop of hills facing north from the Montagne de Reims. From this soil emerges a Blanc de Blancs that seeks the clearest and most sincere expression of Chardonnay, interpreted with a philosophy that places the purity of the fruit at the centre of every choice. It is a project that tells of the bond between landscape and time, where sustainable viticulture, free from chemical fertilisers, herbicides and insecticides, becomes the means to let the authentic voice of the vines speak.

This edition, from the 2021 harvest, is enriched with 30% perpetual réserve, which lends it a layered aromatic complexity and a convincing balance of great harmony. Vinification and fermentation take place separately for each parcel in small stainless steel vats, and after bottling comes ageing of twenty-four months on the lees before dégorgement. The final dosage of 5 g/l, in an Extra Brut style, accompanies the wine without masking its natural elegance.

On the palate, it reveals a fresh and silky profile, where the gustatory texture flows with great harmony between energy and softness. The structure remains agile and bright, supported by a well-integrated acidity that brings rhythm and verticality. The persistence stands out for a long saline finish, which imprints character and defines the wine's mineral signature. It is a wine that unites delicacy and depth, leaving a clear memory and a sense of lasting balance.
