Coteaux Champenois Julien Prélat

L'Œuf de K 2021

The Côteaux Champenois Blanc L'Œuf de K by Karine Prélat is a white wine resulting from a careful blend of 3 vines: Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier and Chardonnay. Grapes were selected and harvested in 2021 and fermentation occured in 225-liter cement tanks for about 10 months before bottling in July 2021 for only 511 bottles.
The Côteaux Champenois Blanc di Karine Prélat is a unique white wine, extremely rare and atypical in the Champagne region. It is extremely intense and rich, with a fruity and spicy bouquet.

Julien Prélat

The Domaine Julien Prélat is located in the heart of Côte des Bar in the village of Celles-sur-Ource. It is with a love of well done work and a passion for wine that Karine and Julien offer Champagnes that reflect all the peculiarities of their terroir. Julien represents the fourth generation of winemakers in his family and applies a reasoned cultivation of the inherited land. His passion for oenology drives him to develop unique and rare wines, known as pure wines that fully express their different characteristics. At every stage of the production process, he is constantly striving for perfection, in order to satisfy his customers while respecting ancestral traditions.


Concerned about the land and the legacy to be left to future generations, Julien practises a quality and reasoned cultivation. Faithful to his principles, he is present in every phase of the life of his vineyards, from sowing to harvesting and the result is there to see: splendid vineyards and grapes of excellent quality. Julien vinifies each individual plot separately (lieux-dits) and keeps his wines in stainless steel tanks and oak barrels to ensure optimal product evolution. Ardent defender of 'Made in France', he only uses materials made 100% by French companies - true partners in his success.
