Millésime 2014
The Champagne Millésime by Gatinois represents the highest and most selective expression of the Aÿ Grand Cru, reserved only for vintages considered truly exceptional. From this terroir comes a cuvée produced in confidential quantities, the result of a rigorous selection of the purest wines, where the depth and elegance of the vintage blend with the generosity typical of Aÿ wines in an authentic celebration of finesse.
This edition, Vintage 2014, shows a clear predominance of Pinot Noir grapes alongside a small share of Chardonnay, which lightens and refines the profile. Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve clarity and purity, while after tirage the wine ages on the lees for over 8 years before dégorgement, amplifying complexity and aromatic depth. The final dosage of 6 g/l, in Brut style, completes an ensemble of rare harmony.
On the palate, Gatinois Millésime 2014 reveals itself as deep and refined, with a velvety texture and a balance that sustains the power of Pinot Noir without ever weighing it down, thanks to a fresh and perfectly integrated tension. The structure is full and progressive, accompanied by a long and luminous persistence, where all the character of a great vintage emerges together with a gustatory coherence that unfolds with measure and class.
