Les Volies
The Champagne Les Volies by Barrat-Masson is a cuvée of remarkable balance and expressiveness, crafted from an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noirsourced from the village of Bethon, in the heart of the Côte de Sézanne. The grapes from the 2019 harvest are vinified and aged in demi-muids, where the wine rests on its fine lees before continuing its bottle maturation for a minimum of 5 years. The choice of zero dosage – in Brut Nature style – highlights the purity of the vintage and the authentic identity of the terroir.
On the palate, Les Volies stands out for its layered complexity, the result of a patient winemaking process that respects both time and matter. The texture is precise and articulate, with aromas ranging from ripe fruit to dried herbs and lightly toasted notes, shaping a clear and refined sensory profile.
Produced in only 2,800 bottles, this Champagne embodies with rigour and sensitivity the Kantian philosophy that graces its label: “La nature agit, l’homme fait.”
