The Champagne Rosé Rougeur Première by Adrien Salot originates in Chézy-sur-Marne, within the Vallée de la Marne, from an artisanal vision that places Meunier at the center of the narrative. This Rosé interpretation reflects the Domaine’s free and low-intervention approach, where each cuvée takes shape through spontaneous fermentations, meticulous attention to raw materials, and vineyard work guided by natural balance. The name “Rougeur Première” evokes the most intense and immediate expression of the fruit, translated into a vibrant and deeply terroir-driven interpretation of Champagne Meunier.

This Vintage 2018 edition interprets Meunier through a red wine vinification focused on expressive authenticity and territorial precision. Vinification and fermentation take place with indigenous yeasts and minimal use of sulfur, while part of the maturation in wood contributes additional complexity and depth without altering the wine’s natural tension. After tirage, the wine spends around 6 years aging on the lees, completed by a dégorgement without final dosage, in Brut Nature style.

In tasting, Rosé Rougeur Première reveals an energetic and vinous profile marked by notes of small red berries, pomegranate, blood citrus, and delicate spicy nuances.
