The Champagne Cœur de Village by Audrey Brocard originates from the Clos de Chassins, in the village of Trélou-sur-Marne in the Vallée de la Marne, from a blend of Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that precisely reflects the identity of the site. The cuvée is crafted from the selection of the “Cœur de Cuvée”, the noblest fraction of the must, and fits within a production philosophy focused on balancing terroir expression and stylistic coherence.

This edition, with a 2021 base vintage, is enriched by around 30% vin de réserve managed through the Solera method, adding continuity and depth. Vinification and fermentation exclude malolactic conversion to preserve tension and freshness, while part of the wine undergoes maturation in oak foudre, contributing to the overall structure. After tirage, it ages on the lees for a minimum of 36 months, developing complexity and definition. The final dosage of 2.5 g/l, in Extra Brut style, keeps the profile precise and focused.

On the palate, Cœur de Village shows a fine and continuous perlage and a broad aromatic profile, with notes of ripe fruit, fresh flowers and light spicy nuances. It reveals a well-calibrated tension, supported by vibrant freshness and a precise mineral texture, leading into a harmonious and persistent progression, defining an elegant and coherent whole.
