Aurore & Florian Laval

Aurore and Florian Laval are the children of Michel, a well-known grower in Boursault, on the Rive Gauche of the Vallée de la Marne, where the family has tended vines since 1979. Raised among the rows and in the cellar, they took up that legacy in 2019 and gave it a personal voice, with a line bearing their own names. The labels, populated by insects representing the members of the family, tell of a project built on respect for the terroir and on sustainable practices, without chemical treatments, to preserve the balance of vine and soil.

Their work rests on three pillars: terroir, sensitivity and dreamlike imagination. Just over six and a half hectares, spread across nine parcels of clay and limestone typical of the Rive Gauche, are planted mainly with Meunier, alongside Pinot Noir and a small share of Chardonnay, farmed in organic conversion so that the land can express itself freely. In the cellar the intervention remains minimal, between wood and steel, and imagination does the rest, turning every cuvée into a childhood memory.
